Day 7
Yes, this is where we started the day, in the Neilsville (Wisconsin) City Cemetery looking for Olivia Baumann, Bob's grandmother on his father's side, in section B65. Which is exactly where we found her once we discovered B65 is actually the Ross Family, which was her sister Edna's family, so she was on the backside of the family marker.
Then on to section M218 to find Rosetta Gillard, Olivia's mother, which took quite a bit longer because the section ends with M170. Then we realized there were three little headstones in the very corner after M170. Perhaps the middle one is Rosetta, it could not be read, the two on either side are Gillards.
We continued driving across Wisconsin on various freeways, highway, country roads and such, the scenic routes, avoiding detours 😎. The good news is, all the road were paved😏. We arrived in Watertown, WI and will be spending the night at Bob's cousin, Robert and Mary Noon. Tomorrow we are invited for "supper " to another relatives house to meet more family.
The speedometer says we have traveled 2257 miles since leaving Redmond. The last two days wilbur is averaging around 14.7 mpg. The tail wind makes driving trickier but it helped mileage.
