Day 6

Well just in case you were wondering North Dakota is 416 miles across via the Ronald Reagan minuteman missile state historical site...πŸ€—. That's where we started our day.

We were able to go on a tour of the facility. Bob got to turn knobs

And pretend to take equipment apart.

Our guide was very patient, after all we were 50 feet underground in capsules with walls of concrete and steel 4 feet thick.

We completed our trip through North Dakota by stopping in Portland ND

Wilbur thought for a minute he was homeπŸ™‚

But alas he was not and was willing to get back on the road and head across Minnesota. When we got into Minnesota we watched the dark clouds roll over ND in the west and then drive into more in the east.

We are currently driving interstate 94 about 90 out of Minneapolis. It is 5:40 pm our time and raining. We are hoping to make it through Minneapolis before we stop for the night. There are always exceptions to rules, I'm sure we will stop before 5:30 pm PST. We have traveled  351 miles today making the grand total approximately 1765 miles. It seems like long days on the road when we start traveling later in the day.
